myJeenie
A mobile-first app for storing and passing on messages, media, and digital assets as future gifts, built on the blockchain. Six months rebuilding the brand, the app, and the website end-to-end.
Take an existing product and propel it forward, brand, app, and website, all speaking the same language.
Refresh the identity. Redesign the app. Rebuild the website. Make the product’s promise immediately clear to anyone landing on it for the first time.
Over six months I took on the full visual identity of myJeenie, a US-based startup that had recently closed funding for their message-scheduling app. The product lets people collect and schedule messages, media, and digital assets (securely held on the blockchain) to be sent to loved ones in the future.
It was my first proper project in the blockchain space and taught me a lot about designing for products where the underlying tech is unfamiliar to most users, and trust is everything.
01
Brand evolution
Started with a whitepaper for investors, then moved into a brand refresh. The client wanted evolution, not revolution, so I took their existing identity and sharpened it, delivering a full brand book covering logo, colour, typography, and messaging.
02
App redesign
Wireframed and designed around 50 screens across onboarding, dashboard, settings, and payment flows, using information architecture handed over from the client. Then took everything through to high fidelity with the new brand applied.
03
Website & social
Rebuilt the marketing site around the new brand and app, with new pages that explained the product clearer. Finished with a social media template system so the team could post on-brand content without going back to design every time.
